Mr. Adolfo Morones, age 93 of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Saturday November 20, 2021 at his home. He was born October 4, 1928 in Mexico a son of the late Roman and Demitria Chavez Morones. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Guge Morones brothers, Jose, Andres and Aurelio Morones. He was the owner of El Sombrero Mexican Restaurant.

He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Anthony "Tony" Morones, David and Tracy Morones of Dalton, GA; daughter and son-in-law Rebecca and Michael Holden of Chatsworth Ga; grandchildren, Olivia Morones, Rachel Morones, Hannah Holden, Joshua Holden, Jacob Holden; several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Brenda Smith and all the hospice nurses that came out to take care of Adolfo.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Adolfo Morones will be held Tuesday November 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Garland Hullender officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday. Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens with Joshua Holden, Timothy Postelle, Danny Arthur, Ken Jones, Wesley Pilcher, and David Morones serving as pallbearers.
