Mr. Able Matias, age 39, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, departed this life Saturday evening, January 23, 2021, at Erlanger Hospital. Able was born, December 20, 1982 in San Marcos Comitancillo, Guatemala. He is the son of Juan Matias Agustin and Gregoria Matias Aguilon.

Able is survived by his children, Milson Lopez, Wilmer Lopez, Ingrid Lopez, Ervin Lopez, Byron Lopez, Yener Lopez, Mivna Lopez, Angelica Lopez; brother and sisters, Hermelindo Matias, German Matias, Salvador Matias, O Felia Matias, Leticia Matias, Yolanda Matias, Lucinda Matias and Estela Matias.

A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday January 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Stephen Catholic Church 7111 Lee Hwy Chattanooga, TN, with Father Manual Perez officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday January 28, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. from Ponders Brainerd Chapel.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be always worn properly, and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
