Mrs. Laura Lee McGill Ortiz, age 36, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at her residence. Laura was born June 27, 1973 in Ringgold, Georgia. Services will be held Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in the Dogwood Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Thursday.
