Charlie Earl Jackson, Sr.

March 6, 2010 10-072 Mr. Charlie Earl Jackson Sr., age 63, of Varnell, Georgia, departed this life Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Memorial Health Care in Chattanooga Tennessee. Mr. Jackson was born March 15, 1946 in Dalton, Georgia, a son of the late Monroe and Erie Edith Crump Jackson. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Monteen Walker, his brothers David Jackson and Bobby Jackson. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Elaine Gribble Jackson of the residence, a daughter and son in law, Lora and Rick Ralston, Varnell, GA; son and daughter in law, Chuck and Melane Jackson, Tunnel Hill, GA; sister and brother in law, Maggie and Buel Dunn, Tunnel Hill, GA; brother in law, Wes Walker, Ringgold, GA; sisters in law and brothers in law, Patti and Steve Baker, Calhoun, GA, Bill and Ellen Johnson, Adairsville, GA; Grandchildren, Jordan Ralston, Shelby Ralston, Savanna Welch, Harley Jackson, and Paisley Jackson; great grandson, Tristan Spence; nieces and nephews, Cindy and Mack Davis, Ron and Jeri Dunn, Susan Harrell, Ricky Walker, Freddie Walker and Jimmy Walker, William Johnson, Adrianne Johnson and Chuck; several great nieces, nephews, and his loving dog, Lucy. Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Charlie Earl Jackson Sr. will be held Monday, March 8, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Good Hope Baptist Church with Reverend Stacy Hensley and Reverend Franky Ridley officiating. He will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 oclock p.m. until 9:00 oclock p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
