Mrs. Tammy Elaine Green, age 47, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, March 3, 2010. Mrs. Green was born April 4,1962 in Dalton,Georgia, a daughter of the late Robert E. Manis. She is survived by her loving Husband of Thirty years, Rickie James Green of the home; son and daughter-in-law, James Green and Amber Brown, her mother, Louise H, Manis, brothers and sister in law, Danny and Tammy Manis, and Scott Manis, Sister, Melinda Manis all of Dalton,GA, brothers and sisters in law, Charles and Valerie Green, Larry and Sharon Green and Jimmy and Ann Baldridge, all of Chatsworth, GA, Special friend, Betty Law and special cousin Derinda Fowler, special Aunt, Martha Sue Milton, and a special niece, Madison Manis, and special nephew, Blake Manis, two Grandchildren, Brooklyn Alexis Marie Green and Jayden Bryant Headrick. Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Tammy Elaine Green will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 1:00 oclock p.m. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home, with Reverend Bobby Green, Rev. Harold Morrow, and Brother Matt Higdon officiating. She will be laid to rest at Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Blake Manis, Ryan Gwen, Andy Fowler, Sandy Fowler, Eddie Crider and Shane Cassell will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. Friday.
