Mrs. Jeanette McTaggart
Mrs. Jeanette McTaggart, age 67, of Rocky Face, Georgia, went to be with the Lord Monday, February 8, 2010 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born September 16, 1942 in Whitfield County, Georgia, a daughter of the late Fred and Gertrude Pangle. She was also preceded in death by her husband J.B. McTaggart, brothers Pete and Franklin Pangle, sisters Louise Johnson and Lola Duckett.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law Scotty and Royxann McTaggart, Shane McTaggart of Rocky Face, GA; daughters and son-in-law Cindy and Scott Jordan of Tunnel Hill, GA, Sheri Rogers of Manchester, TN; sisters and brother-in-law Sue Williamson of Rocky Face, GA, Jerri Evans of Marietta, GA, Virginia and Darrell Wimpy of Rocky Face, GA; beloved nephew Bobby Johnson of Rocky Face, GA; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jeanette McTaggart will be held Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Brother David Pangle and Brother John Bagley officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband in the Dunagan Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be James Jordan, Chad Rogers, Craig Rogers, Bobby Johnson, Greg Duckett, Lamar Bones Cook, Jeremy Mallett, Brad Edgerton.
The family will receive friends at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home from 5:00 until 9:00 pm on Wednesday.
