Mr. William Chris Morgan, age 47, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Friday morning February 5, 2010 at Hamilton Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Chris was born March 5, 1962 in Whitfield County, Georgia, a son of Charles W. Billy Morgan and Peggy Morgan Robinson. He was a member of Church Of God of Prophecy. He is survived by his fiancé, Donna Green, Dalton, GA; brothers, and sister in law, Charles Michael Morgan, Dalton, GA, Jeffery Lamar and Pamela Morgan, Chatsworth, GA, Step Brothers, Eddie Nicholson, FL, Randy Nicholson, Marietta, GA; Step sisters Tammy Wheat, Dalton, GA, Crystal Ferrick, Chatsworth, GA; nieces and a nephew in law, Amy and Ken Brown, Chattanooga, TN, Elizabeth Morgan, Chatsworth, GA, Great niece and nephew, Jade and Gage Brown, Chattanooga, TN, Grandmother, Geneva Patterson McCutchen, Chatsworth, GA; numerous Aunts and Uncles, a Step mother Wanda Morgan and a step father Paul Anderson Robinson.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. William Chris Morgan will be held Monday, February 8, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Reverend T.E. Flowers officiating. He will be laid to rest at Murray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
