Ms. Becky Epperson
Ms. Becky Epperson, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at her home. Ms. Epperson was born October 7, 1927 in Lincoln County, Georgia, a daughter of the late William Richard ad Lillie Broome Barrett. She was a graduate of Berry College where she obtained her degree in Education. She taught seventy and eighth grade at West Side and Valley Point for over thirty years. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Charme and Dwight Robarts of Dallas, TX; sons and daughters-in-law, Eric and Angie Epperson of Silver Creek, GA, Dirk and Magda Epperson of Tunnel Hill, GA; sisters, Gladys Clark of Greenwood, SC, and Myrtis Scoggin of Clinton, SC; grandchildren, Leah Robarts, Cristi Robarts Richey, Kyle Robarts, Chelsea Robarts, Blake Davis and Damian Epperson.
Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Becky Epperson will be held Saturday morning, February 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Minister Ross Jordan and Reverend Dwight Robarts officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning and after the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Central Church of Christ, 515 N. Tibbs Rd., Dalton, GA, 30720-3814.
