February 1, 2010 10-040 Mr. Lanny Elmo Leonard Prather, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday morning, January 31, 2010 at Hamilton Medical Center. Leonard was born September 7,1952 in Cumming Georgia, a son of Robert Elmo Prather and Mary Virginia Quarels Prather . He is also survived by his wife Annie Mae Fortner ,sons, Michael Cole, Frank Fortner, Daughter, Janet Ball, brothers Terry Prather and Bobby Prather, a niece Amanda Rainey, and a nephew Richard Prather, and 6 grandchildren, all of Dalton, GA Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Lanny Elmo Leonard Prather, will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home Wednesday 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.
