Mrs. Minnie Vera, age 73, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Friday morning, January 29, 2010 at the Ridgewood Manor. Mrs. Vera was born October 12, 1936 in Whitfield County, Georgia, a daughter of the late Henry and Jennie Prater Stephens. She was Preceded in death by first husband Howard Bagley, second husband Rudy Vera, grandson Gunnar Bagley, son Michael Bagley, sister Myrtle Caboung.
She is survived by her children and spouses, Freddie and Deliah Bagley, Resaca, GA, Robin and Steve Gordon of Cohutta, GA, Randy and Theresa Bagley, Calhoun GA, Carmen and Jeff Erwin, Calhoun, GA; brothers Robert Stephens, George Stephens both of Dalton; sister Mary Brindle, Dalton GA; 12.grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Minnie Vera will be held Monday, February 1, 2010 at 1:00 oclock p.m. the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Reverend Harold Ramey officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 oclock p.m. Sunday.
