Mr. Leonard Bramlbett

Mr. Leonard Bramblett, age 95, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday afternoon, January 25, 2010 at his home. Mr. Bramblett was born September 12, 1914 in Dalton, Georgia, the last surviving child of the late Robert Bob and Josie Elrod Bramblett. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Floryzell Guinn Bramblett, his sisters, Hope Woods, Ruth Smith, Lois Brindle and Chub Wrinkle, brothers, M.B., Ralph, Howard, Frank and J.H. Bramblett. He was retired from the Crown Cotton Mill. He is survived by his daughter, Rose Hardy; son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Shirley Nations of Rocky Face, GA; grandchildren, Teresa Ward, April and Sammy Carter and Paula and Mike Roberts; great-grandchildren, Savannah Ward, Seamus Ward, Jonathon Roberts and Briceson Walls; great-great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Roberts; sisters-in-law, June Bramblett of Dalton, GA, and Jerrie Bramblett of Chatsworth, GA; special nephew and his caregiver, Johnny Bramblett of the Hill City community in Gordon County, GA; special friend, Jack Bates of Apison, TN; several other nieces and nephews. Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Leonard Bramblett will be held Friday, January 29, 2010 at 1:00 oclock p.m. the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Brinkley officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife at the West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 until 8:00 oclock p.m. Thursday.
