Mr. Keith Blackwell
Mr. Keith Blackwell, 38, of Dalton, Georgia was called home to his creator on the 25th of January, 2010. He was the chief of the Armour Clan of the Elk Clan of the Elk within the Native American Church Kituwah and affectionately called Gadoda Yona. Mr. Blackwell enjoyed outside sports such as swimming and four-wheeling, and loved to spend time with his son.
Keith is survived by his loving wife; Donnita Blackwell; his mother; Dorothy Byers a son; Colt Robert Blackwell of Dalton; a step daughter; Cherie Chester; a step son; Gary Leming; a step brother; Michael Byers; a step granddaughter; Victoria Chester; sisters-in-law; Shannon and Jeremy Moore, Desiree and Brad Rhodes; uncles; Randall Blalock and Tommy Blalock; aunts; Ruby Pais, June Rosenthal, Mary Elrod, and Bobbie Blalock; several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Keith Blackwell will be held Friday, January 29, 2010 at 7:00 PM at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Pastor Mitchell Gaston and Reverend Silverahawk officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday at 4:00PM until the funeral hour.
