Mrs. Carol A. Sanford
Mrs. Carol Ann Sanford. age 61, of Dalton, Georgia, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at the local hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 16, 1948 in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late Bethel and Bonnie Amonett. She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law Burlie Sanford, and special friend Patricia Patterson.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years Charles Sanford of Dalton, GA; sons and daughters-in-law Monty and Michelle Sanford of Varnell, GA, Charles Jr. and Lori Sanford of Ringgold, GA, Adam and Katie Sanford of Chatsworth, GA; daughters Cathaleen Sanford of Cohutta, GA, Beth Sanford, and Annie Sanford with Kyle Harrow of Dalton, GA; brothers and sister-in-law Earl and Judy Amonett of Calhoun, GA, Charles and Wanda Amonett of Resaca, GA, Don and Judy Amonett of Dalton, GA, Mike and Shelly Amonett of Cohutta, GA; sister and brother-in-law Rathel and Ronda Daves of Dalton, GA; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Tim and Ann Sanford, David and Kathy Sanford, Bruce and Brenda Sanford, Robert Bowen, Janice and J. L. Gallman; mother-in-law Ina Sanford all of Chatsworth, GA; twelve grandchildren, one special grandchild Simon Sanford, nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Carol Ann Sanford will be held Friday, January 15, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the New Life Baptist Church with Reverend Ricky Spence, Reverend Tim Sanford, and Reverend Fred Ufford officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Whitfield Memorial Gardens, with Scott Amonett, Danny Amonett, Kevin Daves, Dale Bearden, Ryan Sanford, and Bruce Sanford serving as pallbearers.
