Mr. Timothy Wayne Timmy Sorrows, age 36, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, January 6, 2010 from injuries sustained in a pedestrian-train accident. Timmy was born October 27, 1973 in Houston, Texas, a son of the late Leslie A. Sorrows, Sr. and Elizabeth Rolen Icenhour. He was also preceded in death by a son, Timothy Andrew Sorrows.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Sorrows of the residence; children, Joseph Crawley of Douglasville, GA, Nicholas Wayne Sorrows of Rocky Face, GA; step-children, Joseph Richardson, Analina Richardson both of Cleveland, TN, and Bobby Russell of Calhoun, GA; sisters, Kimberley Davis of Rocky Face, GA, Pamela Smith of Cleveland, GA, and Debra Coleman of Glenn, GA; brothers, Leslie Sorrows, Jr. of Cohutta, GA, Terry Sorrows of Cleveland, GA, and Billy Bargo of Dalton, GA; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Timothy Wayne Timmy Sorrows will be held Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Reverend Phillip Burns and Reverend Donnie Christopher officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Rocky Face, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Saturday and after 11:00 a.m. Sunday.
