Mrs. Ruth M. Faith, 84, of Dalton Georgia, departed this life, January 4, 2010 at Ridgewood Manor Nursing Home. Ruth was born March 26, 1925 in Ellijay, Georgia, a daughter of the late George Washington and Sally Black Mooney. She was also pre deceased by her Husband Talmadge Faith, and her daughter, Wanda Wellborn, a Granddaughter, Lorri Payne, and two step daughters, Willard Luffman and Mildred Lyle.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law Joyce and Ken Monroe, Calhoun, GA, sons and daughter in law, Don Faith, Dalton, GA, Jerry and Louise Faith, Tunnel Hill, GA, a Step Daughter Hazel Carlson, Jacksonville FL, Sisters, May Walston, Rocky Face, GA, Jewell Clarke, Mesa, AZ, Stella Bramblett, Ellijay, GA, a sister in love, Jane Hammontree, and a brother James Hassel Mooney, Chatsworth, GA. Grandchildren Trisa and Roger Moses, Lisa and Eric Dahlstrom, Ken and Mindy Faith, Jordan and Josh Monroe, other step-grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Services to celebrate the life of Ruth will be held Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Harper and Rev. Bob Monroe officiating. She will be laid to rest at West Hill Cemetery beside her beloved husband. The family will receive friends Wednesday Evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Ponders Funeral Home.
