Mrs. Irene W. Cloer

Mrs. Irene W. Cloer, age 89, of Dalton, Georgia departed this life Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Hamilton Medical Center. Mrs. Cloer was born December 11, 1920. Irene enjoyed attending church, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Cloer was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years; Glenn Cloer; parents; Hattie and Dave Wooten; daughter; Audrey Tucker; sons; Jimmy Jackson and Baby Cables; sisters; Ruth Wade and Annamae Wooten; brothers; Ike Wooten, Dan Wooten, Eck Wooten and Pete Wooten. Mrs. Cloer is survived by her daughter; Mildred Ling; sons and daughters-in-law; Claude and Gloria Jackson, Allen and MaryJo Cables; a sister-in-law; Lucille Hooker; 22 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson; several nieces and nephews Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Irene W. Cloer will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Bethel United Methodist Church in Dalton, with Reverend Billy Joe Cochran officiating. Michael Brackett, JR Lands, Bug Jackson, Matt Quarles, Eric Cables and Brian Jackson will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow the funeral service in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. on Monday.
